Connecting a Home Theater System
Using RCA
1. Turn off the power to your HDTV and home theater.
2. Connect an audio cable (white and red connectors) to the audio
connectors on the home theater and connect the other end to the
L and R AUDIO OUT jacks on your HDTV.
3. Turn on the power to your HDTV and home theater.
4. Press MENU. The HDTV Settings App. opens.
5. Press ◄, ►, ▲, or ▼ to select TV Settings, and then press
OK.
6. Press ▼ to select Audio, and then press OK.
7. Press ▼ to select TV Speakers, and then press OK.
8. Press ► to select OFF so the sound from your HDTV will be
routed through your home theater system.
9. Adjust other audio settings in the menu as desired.
10. Press EXIT to close the HDTV Settings App.
11. Program your home theater to work with your VIZIO remote
control. See Device Setup on page 46 for more information on
setting up your remote.
