Wi-Fi Status Indicators
When Wi-Fi is connected, active, and communicating
with a Wireless Access Point (WAP), displays in the
Status Bar.
If a Wi-Fi access point is available, but your device is
not connected to it, displays in the Status Bar. It
may also display if there is a communication issue with
t
he target Wireless Access Point (WAP).
Wi-Fi Pop-Ups
You can set your device to notify you when Wi-Fi is
available each time you open an app.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
2. Tap Wi-Fi, and then tap ON/OFF to turn Wi-Fi on.
3. Tap Show Wi-Fi pop-up to enable the feature.
Wi-Fi Settings
The Wi-Fi settings menu allows you to set up many of
your device’s advanced Wi-Fi services.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.
2. Tap Wi-Fi, and then tap ON/OFF to turn Wi-Fi on.
3. Tap Show Wi-Fi pop-up to set your device to
notify you, when you open an app, that Wi-Fi is
available.
4. Tap Moreoptions for options:

Scan: Start another scan for nearby Wi-Fi
networks.
•
Wi-Fi Direct: Configure a Wi-Fi Direct
connection with a nearby device.
