Turning on the Reader
Slide the POWER switch to turn on the Reader.
Notes
If the Reader does not turn on, charging is required. For
details, refer to “Charging the Reader” (

It may take a few moments for the Reader start-up screen to
appear after a reset (

) or shutdown (

To turn off the Reader
Slide the POWER switch again. The Reader enters
sleep mode.
Hint
Even if you do not turn off the Reader manually, the Reader
enters sleep mode after 60 minutes of inactivity when the
“Power Management” setting is set to “On” (
