#1 What to do if the backlight is off and the screen is dark?

If the monitor backlight is off, please try the following troubleshooting:

Unplug the monitor for a minutes.
Try connecting a different source.
Try conceding to a different device.
If the issue is not solved please raise a case.

#2 What to do when there is a small screen window in PBP mode?

When the PBP ( Picture By Picture ) mode is activated on the 499P9/xx, and the displayed picture is a small window, please inform the customer as follows:

For PBP mode the recommended resolution is 2560x1440 @ 60Hz.
Please make sure in advanced settings of your operating system that refresh frequency is set to 60Hz. Windows 10 and 7 usually set default refresh frequency to 30Hz which cause that monitor displays the picture in small size.

For Windows 10:

Open (Right mouse click on desktop and choose from context menu) Displays settings
Select Advanced display settings
There is visible what is the picture refresh rate.
If there is 30Hz or 29Hz open graphic cards properties and change the frequency to 60 Hz at Monitor -> Monitor settings tab.

For Windows 7:

Open (Right mouse click on desktop and choose from context menu) Resolution settings
Select Advanced settings
Select Monitor tab in the window which popped up
In the Monitor settings section check which refresh frequency is used.
If needed change the frequency to 60Hz.

#3 What to do if empty screen (with Power LED on) appears?

If the monitor display is off and the power LED is on, please try the following troubleshooting:

When not connected to any source and the you turn on the Monitor do you see the Philips Logo?
Try conceding to a different device
Try to connect to a different source
Make sure there are no adapters and you are using a direct connection
If the issue is not solved please raise a case.
