OdorFree Charcoal Filter
With recirculation mode, a charcoal
filter must be installed in addition to the
grease filters. The charcoal filter is
designed to absorb cooking odors.
The charcoal filter is installed in the
canopy above the grease filters.
Charcoal filters are available to order via
the Miele Web Store, Miele Technical
Service (see end of this manual for
contact details), or from your Miele
dealer. The model designations are
listed in the “Technical data” chapter.
Installing/replacing the OdorFree
Charcoal Filter
To install or replace the OdorFree
Charcoal Filter, the grease filters must
first be removed as described above.
Push the cover for the charcoal filter
compartment slightly to the right and
then lower it to remove it.
Remove the charcoal filter from its
packaging.
Insert the charcoal filter into its
compartment and push the filter up
against the recirculation grille.
Reinsert the cover and the grease
filters.
When to change the OdorFree
Charcoal Filter
Replace the charcoal filter when it no
longer absorbs kitchen odors
effectively.
It should be replaced at least every 6
months.
Disposing of charcoal filters
Used charcoal filters can be disposed
of with normal household waste.
