Operating Instructions
10. SAUTÉ
• PRE-PROGRAMMED TIMES: Less = 30 minutes, Normal = 30 minutes, More = 30 minutes
• MAX TIME: 30 minutes
• TO USE:
a. Put the oil, butter or other cooking fat into the cooking pot.
b. While the lid is off, press the Sauté button. Use the - and + buttons to adjust the
cooking time. Press START.
c. Once the START button is selected, the Multi Cooker will beep three times and the
word “On” will display on the screen. The selected cooking mode (Less, Normal or
More) will also display on the screen along with the cooking cycle indicator. The
cooking cycle indicator will display throughout the entire cooking process with the
words “Cooking” displayed below it.
d. Once the cooking pot fully heats, the word "Hot" will display on the screen.
e. When the programmed time elapses, the Multi Cooker will beep 10 times and
then switch OFF.
f. Always press CANCEL when you are done cooking to turn the Multi Cooker OFF.
11. STEAM
• PRE-PROGRAMMED TIMES: Less = 3 minutes, Normal = 10 minutes, More = 15 minutes
• MAX TIME: 4 hours
• TO USE:
a. If desired, use the Sauté function to gently cook some flavorful aromatics, like garlic
or onion, in the cooking put. Otherwise, put 1 cup of liquid into the cooking pot with
the steaming rack. Place the food on the steaming rack and secure the lid.
b. Press the STEAM button. Use the - and + buttons to adjust the cooking time. Press START.
c. Once the START button is selected, the Multi Cooker will beep three times and the
word “On” will display on the screen. The selected cooking mode (Less, Normal or
More) will also display on the screen along with the cooking cycle indicator. The
cooking cycle indicator will display throughout the entire cooking process with the
words “Cooking” displayed below it.
d. When the programmed time elapses, the Multi Cooker will beep 10 times and then
switch OFF.
e. Always press CANCEL when you are done cooking to turn the Multi Cooker OFF.
*Before pressing START, the DELAY TIMER may be set using the instructions on page 26.

9. SLOW COOK
PRE-PROGRAMMED TIMES: Less = 4 hours, Normal = 4 hours, More = 4 hours
MAX TIME: 20 hours
TO USE:
a. If desired, use the Sauté function to brown the meat, poultry and/or vegetables.
Otherwise, put ingredients, including at least 1 cup of liquid, into the cooking pot.
b. Secure the lid.
c. Press the SLOW COOK button. Use the - and + buttons to adjust the cooking time,
OR press the SLOW COOK button again to select a preset cooking time. The mode
will change from “Normal” to “More” or “Less.(Normal, More and Less refer to preset
cooking times. All can be adjusted further using the - and + buttons.)
d. Press START.*
e. Once the START button is selected, the Multi Cooker will beep three times and the
timer will START timing down. The selected cooking mode (Less, Normal or More)
will also display on the screen along with the cooking cycle indicator. The cooking
cycle indicator will display throughout the entire cooking process with the words
“Cooking,or “Keep Warm” displayed below it.
f. When the programmed time fully counts down, the Multi Cooker will beep 10 times
and then switch to the Keep Warm function. While in the Keep Warm function, the
Multi Cooker will count up.
g. Always press CANCEL when you are done cooking to turn the Multi Cooker OFF.
*Before pressing START, the DELAY TIMER may be set using the instructions on page 26.
