#1 Does this Microwave: PVM9179DFBB, have an add 30 seconds feature? Thank You

We are excited to hear of your interest! Yes, the Microwave Express cook option is a quick way to set and start cooking in 30 second blocks each time the Microwave Express button is pressed. The cook time may be changed by turning the dial at any time during cooking. The power level will automatically be set at 10 and the oven will start immediately.

#2 After using the convention feature does the microwave need to cool down (or wait any period of time) before you can use the microwave feature?

You can cook by time after convection baking. The sensor features will not operate when the oven is hot. If a sensor cooking button is pressed, the oven will automatically change to cook by time or once the oven is cool enough (below 200F), the sensor features will function normally.

#3 Why does the cook time feature not allow me to select the exact time. Rather it jumps in increments of 15 seconds. Is there any way to program the unit to allow us to select an exact time?

The cooking time can only be set in 15 minute increments. It cannot be programmed to select an exact time. We are sorry for any inconvenience, and will be happy to pass your feedback to the appropriate department. Thanks for checking with us!
