13  Sabbath mode
You can set a cooking time of up to 74hours using
Sabbath mode. You can use top/bottom heating to
keep food warm between 85°C and 140°C during
this time without having to switch the appliance on or
off.
13.1 Starting Sabbath mode
Notes
¡ If you open the appliance door during operation, the
appliance stops heating. When you close the appli-
ance door, the appliance continues to heat again.
¡ Once it has started, you can no longer change or in-
terrupt Sabbath mode.
Requirement:Sabbath mode is activated in the basic
settings.

Use the control ring to set the ⁠ Sabbath mode
type of heating.
2.
Press ⁠.
a The temperature is highlighted in white.
3.
Use the control ring to set the temperature.
4.
Press ⁠.
a The symbol lights up red.
5.
Use the control ring to set the cooking time.
The end time cannot be delayed.
6.
Press ⁠ to start the operation.
a The appliance starts to heat and the time starts to
count down.
7.
Once the cooking time has elapsed, an audible sig-
nal sounds. The cooking time is at zero. The appli-
ance stops heating up and responds again as usual
outside of Sabbath mode.
Press ⁠ to switch the appliance off.
The appliance automatically switches off after ap-
prox.10to 20 minutes.

You can configure the appliance to meet your needs.
14.1 Overview of the basic settings
Here you can find an overview of the basic settings

14.2 Changing the basic settings
Requirement:The appliance is switched off.

Press and hold ⁠ for approx. threeseconds.
2.
Press ⁠ to confirm the messages in the display.
a The first basic setting is shown in the display.
3.
Use the control ring to change the basic setting.
4.
Press ⁠.
a The next basic setting appears in the display.
5.
Use ⁠ to scroll through the basic settings and, if re-
quired, usethe control ring to change any of these
settings.
6.
To save the changes, press and hold ⁠ for approx.
threeseconds.
Note:Your changes to the basic settings will be re-
tained even after a power failure.
Discarding changes to the basic settings
Press ⁠.
a All changes will be discarded and not saved.
14.3 Setting the time
Requirement:The appliance is switched off.
