Air Cleaner
Changing/Cleaning Air Cleaner
Element
Use a new Honda Genuine air cleaner
element or an equivalent specified for your
motorcycle.
1.
Remove the right side cover. 2 P. 54
2.
Remove the attaching screws and air
cleaner housing cover.
3.
Pull out the air cleaner element and check
it for any damage.
u Blow away the remaining dust by
applying compressed air from the
outside of the air cleaner element.
u Replace the air cleaner element if it is
excessively dirty, torn or damaged.
NOTICE
Using the wrong air cleaner element can result in serious
damage to the engine.
