11. Reassemble the screen and spring back into
the plug.
12. Reinstall the plug through the bottom of the
chassis and torque to specification

13. Remove the oil fill cap / dipstick. Add Polaris-
recommended lubricant. Do NOT overfill.

14. Reinstall the dipstick.
15. Start the engine. Allow it to idle for one to two
minutes.
16. Stop the engine and inspect for leaks.
17. Check the oil level. Add oil as needed to bring
the level to the upper mark on the dipstick.
18. Dispose of used oil properly.
IMPORTANT
Always inspect the oil filter immediately
following an oil change. See page 109.
