#1 How is it at”frying” vegetables? Are they crispy? Do you need to turn them in the middle of cooking? Has anyone tried the dehydrator?
Yes you do have to turn it over halfway in between if you want it to be cooked evenly on both sides. Unless you throw it in the rotisserie Cage which automatically rotates the food
Mine doesn’t shut off when the door is open so I have to turn it off and then restart it again. A real pain. When I’m finished I push the off and it still runs for at least a minute
#3 Anyone fry bacon? How did it turn out and how was the cleanup? Please don't answer this question if you don't know.
It did a great job at frying the turkey bacon. Perfectly crisp but not overly so. But you do have to flip the bacon half way through, which can be a little nerve racking. I put foil in under the bacon. So cleanup was easy
#4 Does the oven door pop off? I returned a power fryer with a door that would stay closed, and don't want the same problem again.
I have only used the oven a few times and had no problems with the oven door. It opened and shut tightly every time I used it.
