To remove the battery from the vacuum cleaner,
press the on/off switch (Fig.

fully discharged. Unscrew the screws on the housing
and take off the housing shell to remove the battery.
To prevent a short circuit, disconnect the batter y
connections individually one after the oth e r and
then insulate the ter minals.
Even in the c
ase of complete discharge, the batter y
still contains a residual capacit y that may be re -
leased in the event of a short circuit.
