• Allow the appliance to cool completely
before storing.
• Store the appliance in a dry area, such as on
a tabletop, on a countertop, or in a cupboard
shelf.
Storage
• Turn the Temperature Control Dial to the off
("O") position and allow the appliance to cool
completely before cleaning.
• Unplug the Temperature Control Dial from the
appliance and then the power outlet. DO NOT
IMMERSE THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
DIAL IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
• Remove the Grill/Griddle Plate (see the "Using
the Reversible Grill/Griddle Plate" section).
• Carefully remove the Drip Tray. Avoid spilling any
oils, juices, or other liquids that have collected in
the Drip Tray.
• Wash the Grill/Griddle Plate, Drip Tray, and
Base with a soft sponge with warm, soapy
water. Do not use a steel wool pad or other
abrasive cleaners, which can damage the
non-stick surface of the Grill/Griddle Plate.
These components can also be cleaned in the
dishwasher.
• Rinse and dry the components well.
