HOME COMFORT MODE
Preset humidity levels (see PRESET MODE button on control panel) allow for
dehumidier to operate at optimum performance depending on where it is
placed.
Continuous
Dehumider operates continuously regardless of the room’s relative humidity.
Basement
Digital humidistat is preset at 45percent relative humidity.
Bedroom
Digital humidistat is preset at 55 percent relative humidity.
CHILD LOCK MODE
The child lock mode (see TIMER button on control panel) allows you to lock the
control panel, preventing someone from changing the settings. Press and hold
The TIMER button for 3 seconds and when locked, the LOCK indicator will light.
Press and hold the TIMER button for 3 seconds to unlock the control panel.
AUTOMATIC DEFROST
When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor will cycle off
and the fan will continue to run until the frost disappears. When the coils
are completely defrosted, the compressor or fan (depending on model) will
automatically restart and dehumidication will resume.
AUTOMATIC RESTART
In the event of a power interruption such as a power outage or the plug being
disconnected from the outlet, your dehumidier will automatically restart in
the same setting once power has been restored to the unit. The only functions/
features that will have to be restored manually upon resumption of power are
the pump mode, the timer function and the child lock mode.
INTERNAL PUMP MODE
The internal pump allows the unit to operate without having to empty the bucket
and requires the installation of the included pump drain hose kit. To install the
kit, remove the drain cap on the back of the unit (see Fig. 6 on page 12). Insert
the included gasket into the front of the included pump adapter (see Fig. 7 on
page 12). Force the included CLEAR drain hose on to the pump adapter and turn
adapter clockwise on to the garden hose type nozzle on the back of the unit (see
Fig. 8 on page 12). Once securely installed, lead the drain hose to a nearby drain,
sink or out a window. Turn on the dehumidier and press the PUMP button to
activate the internal pump. The “PUMP” LED indicator should illuminate.
NOTE: Be aware that a small internal tank must ll before the pump will function
and operation may be intermittent depending on the amount of humidity
in the air at the time. Water can be pumped up to 16’ in height from base
of unit. Make sure there are no kinks or knots in the hose.
