Taking Care of the Unexpected
If the Transmission Is Not
Functioning Properly
Automatic Shift (AUTO) Mode:
If the gear position indicator shows ‘‘ ’’ or blinks, try rocking the
ATV back and forth a few inches and then recheck the gear position
indicator.
If the gear position indicator continues to show ‘‘ ’’ or continues to
blink while riding, perform the following:
Stop the ATV.
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF ( ) position.
After the engine stops, turn the ignition switch to the ON ( )
position.
Check the gear position indicator.
If, these efforts do not restore proper operation, have your ATV
inspected by your dealer.
