#1 Are these linkable?

Linkable you mean via bluetooth or audio jack?
You can use both. You can play music via bluetooth or using an audio jack cable. The speaker only comes with charging cable but not the charging box.

#2 Does this have auto-off? I don't want it to turn off if not playing. Is there a voice prompt or beeping, which I don't want?

Our JBL Go 2 has a power saving mode which powers off the device when it is not in use for more than 10 minutes. It does have a beeping sound when powering on and off and also when it successfully pairs to a device via Bluetooth.

#3 Overcharge protection?

JBL Go 2 uses technology on its Lithium-Ion batteries that automatically stops charging once they're fully charged. The batteries should not be damaged no matter how long your speaker is plugged in.
