Checking the Disc Memos
1 Press CD to switch the function to CD.
2 Press MENU.
3 Press – . or > + (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until “NAME
CHECK” appears.
4 Press ENTER.
5 Turn DISC ACCESS to select the disc titles
stored in the system memory between 01 and
60.
6 Press MENU.
To check the current disc title
Press SCROLL on the remote in stop mode.
Erasing a Disc Memo
1 Press CD to switch the function to CD.
2 Press MENU.
3 Press – . or > + (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until “NAME
ERASE” appears.
4 Press ENTER.
5 Turn DISC ACCESS to select the disc
number with the title you want to erase.
6 Press ENTER.
Erasing all Disc Memos of all
discs
1 Press CD to switch the function to CD.
2 Press MENU.
3 Press – . or > + (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until “ALL ERASE”
appears.
4 Press ENTER.
5 Press ENTER again until “COMPLETE”
appears.
Using the CD display
You can check the remaining time of the
current track or the entire CD. When a CD-
TEXT disc is loaded, you can also check the
information recorded on the disc, such as the
titles.
Press DISPLAY repeatedly.
The display changes cyclically as follows:
During normal play
Elapsed playing time of the current track t
Remaining time of the current track t
Remaining time of the disc* t Track title
(CD-TEXT disc only) t Clock display t
Effect status
* “--.--” appears when either “ALL DISCS”, “ALL
DISCS SHUF”, “1 DISC SHUF” or “PGM” is
displayed (see page 14).
In stop mode
During Program Play mode when there is a
program:
The last track number and the total playing
time of the program t The disc number of the
program, the last track number and total
number of steps t Disc title or Disc Memo*

In other conditions:

TOC = Table of Contents; displays current disc
number, total number of tracks on the disc, and
total playing time of the disc
Depending on the disc, some CD-TEXT information
may not appears.
