BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE

ADDING GASOLINE

Removethefuelcapandllthetankwithcleanfreshgasoline.Thisshouldbeunleadedfuelthathasanoctane

ratingof86orhigher.Donotllthetanktooverowing.Cleanupanyspilledgasolinebeforestartingengine.

OPENING THE FUEL VALVE

Move the fuel valve lever to the right to allow fuel to the engine.

CLOSING THE CHOKE

When starting a cold engine, move the choke lever to the left (closed) As

the engine warms up move it towards the right (open).

A warm engine should start with the choke open.
