OdorFree Charcoal Filter
With recirculation mode, two charcoal
filters must be fitted in addition to the
grease filters. These are designed to
absorb cooking odors.
They are fitted in the canopy above the
grease filters.
Charcoal filters are available to order via
the Miele Web Store, the Miele Spare
Parts Department (see end of this
booklet for contact details) or from your
Miele dealer.
You will need to order a DKF19-1
charcoal filter set. This set contains
two charcoal filters.
How to install/replace a charcoal
filter
Before fitting or replacing a charcoal
filter, the grease filters must first be
taken out (see previous section for
instructions on how to do this).
Remove the charcoal filters from their
packaging.
Fit the charcoal filters into the frame.
Press the filters into the holders.
Reinstall the grease filters.
When to change the OdorFree
Charcoal Filter
Always replace the OdorFree
Charcoal Filters whenever they no
longer absorb kitchen odors
effectively.
The charcoal filters should be
replaced at least once every 6
months.
Disposing of the OdorFree charcoal
filter
Used charcoal filters can be disposed
