The RENPHO RP-AP068 air purifier is compact, suitable for use in bedrooms, study rooms, offices and other spaces of about 10 square meters. The product has a 3 stage filtration system: Pre- filter, Activated Carbon Filter, and H13 True HEPA Filter. It removes common airborne pollutants, and gives you a healthier living environment, and clean fresh air!

Cleaning and replacing the filter

Filter Replacement
The filter reset button will light up when the air filter needs to be replaced. Only use RENPHO RP-AP068 True HEPA Filters when changing the filter for this device. Follow the steps below to correctly replace the filter in your air purifier. VisitAmazon.com and search the RP-AP068 Filter to purchase replacement filters.
- Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
- Place the appliance upside down on a flat surface.
- Press the hooks at the bottom then pull out the filter cover.
- Pull the filter out, put the new filter back to the groove, and press it slightly.
- Switch on the appliance, press the filter reset button and hold for 5 seconds to complete the filter reset.
Filter Replacement Force Mode
When using the air purifier in an environment of heavy pollution, the lifespan of the air filters may be significantly reduced. You can change the filters even if the indicator does not light up. Follow the steps below to perform a force reset.
- Replace the air filter as mentioned steps in the Replacing the Air Filters section.
- Plug in the air purifier and turn it on.
- Press and hold the filter reset button for 5 seconds, and it will flash 3 seconds. The reset is complete when the flash stops.
Clean the Filter
- Remove the filter as above steps.
- Clean the inside and outside of the filter with a vacuum cleaner.
- Put the filter back into the appliance. Attach all hooks properly to the appliance.
Note
- Always unplug the appliance before you clean it.
- Check and clean the filters once a month at least, more frequently if you use the appliance in a dusty environment.
- Please clean or replace the HEPA filter when the HEPA filter turns gray or black.
- After the HEPA filter has been used for a long time, the airflow of the machine will decrease due to the accumulation of pollutants. It is recommended to replace the HEPA filter every 6 months for optimal functioning of the appliance.
- The HEPA filter is NOT washable.
- Never use aggressive or flammable cleaning agents such as bleach or alcohol to clean any part of the appliance.

Questions & Answers
1. How do I turn off my Renpho air purifier?
- Press button to activate the sleep mode, press button again to switch off. 8 Note: If you want to go back to the Fan Speed mode or Auto mode, simply press the Speed or Auto button. Always unplug the appliance before you clean it.
2. How do I fix my air purifier not working?
- First, check if the power cord is plugged in, if not, plug it in and then turn on the power button of your air purifier. But, if the cord is plugged in and the purifier is still not turning on, check the power outlet. Make sure that the power outlet is not damaged and the cord is properly connected to it.
3. How easy is it to wash that first layer “washable filter”?
- Wash the pre-filter under a running tap. If the pre-filter is very dirty, use a soft brush to brush away the dust.
- Tip: Alternatively, you can clean the pre-filter by removing the dust with a vacuum cleaner.
4. Wondering if you can turn off all of the lights? I like my room dark when sleeping.
- You can turn off the lights one will remain on but I doubt you'll be able to see it. It is tiny and on top of the purifier. I put it in my smallest room and shut the light off it was very dark and could not see it unless I was standing over it looking at the light
5. How do you reset air purifier after changing filter?
- To reset any of the filter replacement indicators, press and hold filter type button that was replaced (HEPA or Carbon) until the light turns off. 3. Repeat for other filter types as needed. When replacing the hybrid filter, reset both the HEPA and carbon indicator lights.
6. I have 2 of these. Replaced both filters. The light still blinks. I tried unplugging it, hit reset button, etc. it very annoying. Help!
- Yes, it will still be blinking until you finished the resetting.
- Press the filter reset button. The light will turn on but not flash, meaning you choose this filter No. to reset, press and hold the button for 3 seconds, the light of the filter will turn off completing the reset.
7. Does the air quality detector detect mold if there is mold in the home?
- It detects impurities in air (pollution) and activates according to how polluted air is. Does not detect mold specifically.
8. Has anyone noticed its effectiveness go away after 4 months? The manufacturer recommends every 6 months a filter change but maybe I need them sooner.
- Usually, each filter can last about 6-8 months if you are using this air purifier in a normal environment.
9. How much square footage does it have?

10. How do you open the cover to replace the filter?
- Make sure it's turned off first.
- Flip the air purifier upside down.
- On the bottom of the unit, there are two slender plastic grips that are sticking up, you pinch those towards each other and pull, this will unlock the bottom from the unit.
