4. Remove the metal grease lters from the face panel. See the
“Range Hood Care” section.
5. Attach the face panel to the hood liner. (Three sizes:
The30"x 12" [76.2 cm x 30.5 cm] cabinet size is shown.)
See instruction below for your specic cabinet size.
For cabinet size: 30" x 12" (76.2 cm x 30.5 cm)
Attach the 30" x 12" (76.2 cm x 30.5 cm) face panel
(supplied with range hood) to the hood liner using four 3.5
x 9.5 mm at-head screws and two 4.2 x 15 mm truss head
screws. Tighten to secure.
For cabinet size: 30" x 18" (76.2 cm x 45.7 cm)
Assemble the 30" x 6" (76.2 cm x 15.2 cm) face panel rear
extension (see the “Assistance or Service” section to order)
to the 30" x 12" (76.2 cm x 30.5 cm) face panel (supplied
with the range hood) using eight 4.2 x 8 mm screws
(supplied with the face panel rear extension).
Attach the 30" x 18" (76.2 cm x 45.7 cm) face panel
assembly to the hood liner using four 3.5 x 9.5 mm at-head
screws and two 4.2 x 15 mm truss head screws. Tighten to
secure.
For cabinet size: 36" x 18" (91.4 cm x 45.7 cm)
Attach the 36" x 18" (91.4 cm x 45.7 cm) face panel (see
the “Assistance or Service” section to order) to the hood
liner using four 3.5 x 9.5 mm at-head screws and two
4.2x15mm truss head screws. Tighten to secure.
Connectthelamp electrical connector.
Connect the Vent System
Vented Installations
1. Connect the vent system to the range hood vent opening.
Seal the connection with clamps.
Non-Vented (recirculating) Installations
1. Connect the vent system to the range hood vent opening.
Seal the connection with clamps.
2. Install vent cover.
3. Install charcoal lters. See the “Range Hood Care” section.
To order replacement kits, see the “Assistance or
Service”section.
Complete Installation
1. Replace grease lters. See the “Range Hood Care” section.
2. Plug 3 prong power cord into a grounded 3 prong outlet
located inside the cabinet above the range hood.
3. Check the operation of the range hood fan and light. See the
“Range Hood Use” section.
If range hood does not operate, check to see whether a
circuit breaker has tripped or a household fuse has blown.
Disconnect power and check wiring connections.
NOTE: To get the most efcient use from your new range
hood, read the “Range Hood Use” section.
4. Install the cabinet doors to the cabinet. Use the assembly
instructions that come with the cabinet.
