To deactivate the parental control feature

Set Rating and Digital Rating (if available) to Off when in the Parental
Lock setting.
To change the password
1 In the Parental Lock setting, use the arrow buttons to highlight Change
Password
, and press to select it.
2 Enter a new four-digit password using the 0-9 buttons.
3 Confirm the new password by entering it again.
4 Press WEGA GATE to exit the setting screen.
Viewing Blocked
Programs
You can view a blocked program by entering the password.
1 Press ENT when tuned to a blocked program.
2 Enter your password using the 0-9 buttons.
Parental Lock will be canceled temporarily until you turn your TV off.
✍ This icon will appear on the information
banner across the screen indicating the
availability of the new downloadable rating
information when the Digital Rating is set to
Custom option.
Unrated
(available only in
U.S.A.)
Allow Allows programs and movies that are
broadcast without a rating.
Block Blocks all programs and movies that are
broadcast without a rating.
Change Password Select to change your password.
Select Country U.S.A. Select to use U.S.A. ratings (see page 76).
Canada Select to use Canadian ratings (see page 77).
Option Description
z If you select Block, be aware
that the following programs
may be blocked: news,
sports, weather, emergency
broadcasts, political
programs, public service
announcements, and
religious programs.
