Dolby Digital
Selects the type of Dolby Digital signal.

•DTS
Selects whether or not to output DTS signals.

Audio DRC (Dynamic Range Control)
Makes the sound clear when the volume is turned down when playing a DVD that
conforms toAudio DRC.” This affects the output from the following jacks:
LINE OUT AUDIO L/R jacks
DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (COAXIAL)/HDMI OUT jack only when “Dolby Digital”
is set to “D-PCM”.

Auto Normally select this position. Outputs audio signals according
to the “Dolby Digital” or “DTS” settings (page 60).
PCM Converts Dolby Digital or DTS to PCM.
