#3 Is the carafe thick glass, good quality? I don't see replacements available.
I have had my unit for 4 months and really love it however I did drop the carafe on my tile kitchen floor and tried to order a replacement through cuisinart directly but it showed backordered for three weeks. In addition, the letters on the buttons started rubbing off to where the buttons were unidentifiable. I called the customer service number listed on the website, they said the letter issue was now a known issue and thay are now manufacturing the units to come with stickers to place on the buttons. Theyalso advised they dont sell the separate carafe yet because the unit is so new so they are sending me a whole new unit free of charge.
