Love this machine, makes great coffee. It may depend on grind type. If you are using an espresso grind you may get more sediment and cloudiness.

Not sure what you mean, but you put the water in the tank and the grounds in the other side and push the brew button. Or pre-program so coffee is ready the following morning. Love this coffee maker, best one I’ve ever had!

I have had my unit for 4 months and really love it however I did drop the carafe on my tile kitchen floor and tried to order a replacement through cuisinart directly but it showed backordered for three weeks. In addition, the letters on the buttons started rubbing off to where the buttons were unidentifiable. I called the customer service number listed on the website, they said the letter issue was now a known issue and thay are now manufacturing the units to come with stickers to place on the buttons. Theyalso advised they dont sell the separate carafe yet because the unit is so new so they are sending me a whole new unit free of charge.

No it is fairly light glass. The rest of the coffeemaker is mostly plastic. It is sturdy and well made. I love it.

In my opinion, this coffee maker does not produce a lot of steam when brewing.

No I have been using mine for a while nowtemperature remains hot. I have mine set on M found other setting too hot for my taste.
