When the camera is rotated to shoot a portrait image, the camera records its position change
and displays the image in the portrait position.
Depending on the shooting angle of the camera, the orientation of the image may not be recorded
correctly. When the orientation of the image is not correct, you can rotate the image using the procedure
on page 63.
Displays the recorded image on the screen for approximately two seconds immediately after
shooting a still image.
If you press the shutter button halfway down during this period, the recorded image display disappears
and you can immediately shoot the next image.
This sets the smile detection level when [Smile Shutter] (page 44) is selected in the Scene
Selection.
It is difficult to detect the smile under the following conditions.
When the face is too dark or too bright
When the face is far from the camera and too small
When the subject is wearing sunglasses or glasses with thick frames
When the front hair, hat, or other objects are covering the eyes
When the subject is not facing towards the front
