#1 Bought this, but no where in the directions does it indicate how to operate. Obviously turning it on boils the water. How do you keep it warm?

This product will switch off automatically when the water reaches the set temperature. To keep the water warm in this kettle, you will need to press the Warm button. The double wall insulation helps aid in keeping the kettle contents warm.

#2 How safe and healthy is the plastic used in this kettle?

The inner wall of our Cool Touch Kettle is made of stainless steel. All of the materials in this product are safe for contact with foods/water meant for human consumption.

#3 How do you turn on the "warm" function? When I press the warm button, nothing happens. And when you remove the kettle from the dock, does it automatically reset the timer?

When the Keep Warm function is active, the dot to the upper left of the ‘F’ will blink. The warm function has to be reset every time the pot is removed from the base. We hope you are enjoying your new kettle!

#4 Is the spout made of stainless steel as well? Is there any plastic that would come in contact with the boiling water or steam?

The spout on this kettle is made out of food grade plastic. All of the materials in the product are safe for contact with foods/water for human consumption.
