Honeywell CT50K1002/E1 Questions and Answers

#1 Will this mount with 2 screws to an existing opening that is similar to a standard electrical outlet or light switch?

Yes. It fits a standard outlet opening.

#2 Will this fit in a standard electrical outlet?

I have never seen one fit into an electrical outlet. Usually, there are two small low-voltage wires that come out of the wall, through a small hole. The thermostat has terminals for the two wires and then the thermostat attaches to the wall with two screws (maybe use plastic anchors) directly into the drywall.

#3 Well this work with baseborad heaters

Yes, I am using it with our boiler system with baseboard heaters. It controls zone valves.

#4 I see that there is no off switch on this unit, can you actually turn it off just by placing it to the lowest setting?

Yes, but the internal switch finally quit working after repeated use. If you can find one with the additional on/off switch, buy it. They're hard to find and a little pricey - I ended up with one with no on/off by mistake and am just using the temp thingie.

#5 Is there a calibration screw to adjust the room temperature sensor reading?

It is not possible to adjust the room temperature sensor reading.
