Before Driving
Is Your Vehicle Ready to Drive?
Remember to take care of any problem you find or have your Honda
dealer correct it before you drive your Honda MUV.
Tie-rod
ends
Cargo
Seat Belts
The wheels need to be lifted off the ground to correctly
check the tie-rod ends, so it cannot be done in the pre-
drive inspection. To have the tie-rod ends properly
inspected, see your Honda dealer.
Be sure items in the cargo bed are within the cargo limit
and are properly secured to prevent shifting (pages 55, 56).
Make sure both seat belts are in good condition and
operate properly. The seat belts must move smoothly
when pulled out, and retract on their own when released.
The latch plates should click securely into the buckles and
release when the release buttons are pushed firmly.
