Servicing Your Honda
Lubrication
To keep moving parts functioning properly, coat them with a multi-
purpose grease (without Teflon or molybdenum additives, such as CRC
6-56 or equivalent).
Provide lubrication when moving parts do not work smoothly. Also
lubricate according to the maintenance schedule (page 81).
Consult your Honda dealer for more information about lubrication
procedures.
Apply grease to each pivot to prevent corrosion. Check for smooth
movement after lubrication. If the movement is not smooth after
applying grease, see your Honda MUV dealer.
Lubricate the front lid pivots as shown in following illustration.
Open the front hood (page 90).
