1. Position the ATV on a
level surface.
2. Position the handlebars
so the master cylinder
q
is level.
3. View the brake fluid level through the indicator window
w
on the top of the
master cylinder. The eye will appear dark when the fluid level is full. When
fluid is low, the eye will be clear.
4. If the fluid level is low, remove the cover screws and add fluid to the fill line.
Do not overfill. Use DOT 4 brake fluid only.
5. Reinstall the cover. Torque screws to specification.

IMPORTANT
Always properly break in the brake system of a new ATV or newly-installed
brake pads. See the Operation section for more information about brake
system break-in procedure.
