#1 If it is hardwired do you have to charge it?

If it is hardwired, you don't need to charge it via the USB port.

#2 can I talk to someone that is inside the house

Yes, when getting a call, or you watch the live video, you can have 2-way audio talk with the visitor.

#3 Can I hardwire it exsting wires for use?

This doorbell supports hardwire in addition to battery-operated. The voltage requirement is 16-24 VAC, which is very common in most house doorbell wiring. Please remove the batteries from the doorbell to extend the life of the battery if it will be wired use for long-term.

#4 Is it wirefree?

Yes, it is wirefree.

#5 Is this unit waterproof?

Yes, its waterproof level is IP65, you can safely use it outdoors.

#6 Can I add an additional camera?

Yes, you can add all home security product that work with CloudEdge App.

#7 Can the battery recharge via standard doorbell connections?

Yes, there are power contacts and hardwire terminals in the back of the doorbell, you can connect the doorbell to existing hard wiring to charge.
