Ninja NJ1002UKBK Questions and Answers

#1 Are the blades rust proof?

Yes, the blades are made with a high quality stainless steel that is rust-proof & dishwasher safe

#2 Will this take 1 piece of fresh ginger and turn it into a paste?

No. its best at chopping into very fine pieces. It does convert onion and tomato into a paste, however i have found it can only convert ginger and garlic into very fine pieces. However, I find that does the job for my indian cooking.

#3 Can the blades be sharpened?

No, never try to sharpen blades!

#4 Food is unevenly chopped:

Either you are chopping too much food at one time, or the pieces are not small enough. Try cutting the food into smaller pieces of even size, and processing smaller amounts per batch.

#5 Food is chopped too fine or is too watery:

The food has been over-processed. Use brief pulses or process for shorter time. Let blades stop completely between pulses
