Ninja NJ1002UKCR Questions and Answers

#1 Will this finely chop curly parsley and mint?

Yes it will. I chop a lot of fresh corriander and mint, works really well.

#2 Could this be used to make nut butters?

Yes. You make need to open the top and stir the mixture in between zapping. Be sure to add enough oil to the mixture.

#3 Can you drizzle oil in while mixing?

No, you can't drizzle oil in while mixing. you would have to stop blending, and pour it in the top, then replace the motor and blend again

#4 Is this chopper suitable to grinding spices?

It should technically. But no it is not. At all. I grinded a small amoutn of whole spices in it and it cracked the plastic container multiple places. Ninja offered a replacement but to be honest i wouldnt try it again. Same thing would happen with hard nuts like almonds. If u want to grind nuts and spices, you are better of investing in a stainless steel grinder. The ninja chopper is very good for everything else like vegetables and salsa, chutney etc.

#5 Can i make puree for baby food ??

Yes, as long as you add some sort of liquid if it's a dry food.

#6 Would this make a smooth but butter?

In my opinion I think so , makes things creamy and it's easy to control ...

#7 Does it have a wire?

Yes it has a plug which connects to mains ..no other wires...
