HIGH-QUALITY CARBON STEEL + CAT'S PAW
DESIGN + SHARP "V" BLADE =
THE MUST-HAVE SHARKGRIP® BAR GROUP
HIGH-QUALITY STEEL:
All SharkGrip® nail pullers and prybars are forged from the finest heat-treated
Japanese alloy steel; the nail-pulling and prying ends are double-tempered for added
strength.
SHARP "V" BLADE:
The pulling “V” is hardened to a Rockwell 50-52 hardness, then hand-finished
for accuracy. The resulting tool is so strong it can even bite into hardened and
stainless steel nails. SharkGrip® nail pullers pull from the shank of the nail,
not the head. The hardened “V” of the tool (A) takes a firm, positive bite into
the nail’s shank; removal is a snap.
CAT'S PAW DESIGN:
SharkGrip® Japanese “cat’s paw”-type nail pullers have been the choice of
professional cabinetmakers and woodworkers for years because they’re so
effective and easy to use. They easily dig into wood to catch even headless
nails. Especially with the proliferation of pneumatic nailers, it’s essential to have
a genuine SharkGrip® nail puller in your tool kit. The underside of
the puller (B) is curved, so that it can easily dig into wood and slide under the
head of an embedded nail—or onto the shank of a headless one.
The back of the puller (C) is designed to double as a striking head for your ham-
mer to make nail removal even easier.
SharkGrip® prybars are the thinnest flat bars on the market. The tool is a
combination prybar/nail puller, and it’s great for prying off molding with virtually no
damage to the surrounding wall or the molding itself. The super-thin design lets it slide
into the narrowest cracks imaginable. It’s perfect for aligning windows and doors dur-
ing installation and removing carpet strips and staples. It even doubles as a multipur-
pose scraper, great for stripping away old paint and smoothing rough surfaces.
