CLEARING BLOCKAGES
Low suction or pick up may be due to a blockage
in the system. Refer to the following steps to check
for blockages, continuing with each step until the
blockage is found:

To reduce the risk of personal injury - Unplug
before cleaning or servicing.

Do not use sharp objects to clean out hose as
they can cause damage.

4.9 The flexible hose can be disconnected from the
vacuum cleaner by pressing the release button on
hose connector and pull out as shown. Remove
any blockages found then reconnect the hose
securely.
4.10 Plug cleaner in, turn on, and check hose end
for suction. Remove any obstructions.
4.11 Remove power nozzle from wand and attach
wand to hose. Check for suction and remove any
blockages.
4.12 Remove power nozzle from wand and turn
over to bottom. Unlock nozzle cover latches.
4.13 Turn power nozzle over to top and open hinged
nozzle cover to access brushroll.
4.14 Clean debris from brushroll.
The motor and brushroll are equipped with bearings that contain sufficient lubrication for their lifetime.
The addition of lubricant could cause damage. Therefore, do not add lubricant to motor or
brushroll.
