Galanz GLR31TBEER Questions and Answers

#1 Hi, i am asking about the 3.1 cu ft red one. does it eventually get frost build up inside? if so, is it hard to defrost? thanks.

The Galanz Retro 3.1 cu ft. mini refrigerator does require manual defrost. The accumulation of frost is dependent on the humidity of your environment, the moisture level of food placed in the freezer, the frequency of opening and closing, and the quality of the seal. For easy defrosting, it is recommended that you empty the refrigerator, unplug it, and allow it to warm to room temperature. Use of tools to remove the frost can cause damage and void the product warranty.

#2 How to remove door shelves?

To remove the door shelves on the Galanz 3.1 cu ft. Retro refrigerator, grab the sides of the door and flex in gently while lifting.

#3 Can you it be put on carpet?

The Galanz 3.1 cu ft Retro compact refrigerator is designed with a drip tray to collect moisture accumulation from the compressor that should come installed above the compressor. As long as the drip tray is correctly installed, the refrigerator should be safe to use in any indoor setting.

#4 Is it possible to use the freezer portion on a low setting as extra refrigerator space?

For the Galanz 3.1 cu ft. Retro compact refrigerator, the freezer compartment is designed to be below 32 degrees at all settings and is not designed to be used as an additional refrigerator compartment.
