Operation
Pairing another mobile device
1. Power on your audio system and Bluetooth
®
enabled device.
2. Press
on the adapter.
The Bluetooth indicator blinks blue.
3. On your mobile device, turn Bluetooth on.
4. Select Bose Bluetooth Audio Adapter.
Note: Some devices may require a passcode. Enter 0000 if prompted.
When pairing is complete, the indicator glows solid white.
The adapter’s memory can hold up to eight devices. See “Adapter memory” on
page 12.
Connecting a paired mobile device
If you have disconnected your device by turning off Bluetooth
®
or by connecting a
fourth device, you will have to re-connect your device. You do not have to re-pair
your device unless you have cleared the adapter’s memory, or have paired more
than 8 devices. See “Adapter memory” on page 12.
1. Power on your mobile device.
2. On your mobile device, turn Bluetooth on.
3. Select Bose Bluetooth Audio Adapter.
Until the device connects, the Bluetooth indicator on the adapter blinks white.
When the adapter and Bluetooth enabled device have successfully connected, the
indicator glows white and emits a tone through your audio system.
Multi-point connectivity
Multi-point connectivity enables your Bose
®
Bluetooth
®
Audio adapter to maintain
an active connection with up to three mobile devices.
1. Pair and connect your Bluetooth enabled devices. See “Pairing a mobile
device” on page 10.
2. Play music from your first connected device.
3. Pause your first device, and play music from your second or third connected
device.
The second or third device’s music plays from your audio system.
Notes:
You must pause your music from your active device to play another
connected device.
If you activate a fourth device, the device that has been inactive the longest
is replaced.
