Cleaning the grease lters
• The mesh lters can be cleaned by
hand. Let the lters soak for about
3minutes in water with a grease-
loosening detergent, then brush
them gently with a soft brush. Do
not apply too much pressure to
avoid damaging it. Leave to dry
naturally, avoid direct sun light.
• Filters should be washed
separately to crockery and kitchen
utensils. Do not use rinse aid for
cleaning.
Installing grease lters
Install the grease lters in four steps (see gure below):
1. Angle the lter into slots at the back of the hood.
2. Push the button on the handle of the lter.
3. Release the handle once the lter ts into a resting position.
4. Repeat the previous steps to install all lters.
Insert and replace activated carbon lter (optional)
Note: An activated carbon lter is not included. But you can buy it in addition to the
cooker hood.
Activated carbon lters can be used to bind odours. Normally the activated carbon lter
should be replaced after 3 or 6 months, depending on cooking habits.
Install the activated carbon lter as described below:
1. Before installing or replacing the activated carbon lter, disconnect the appliance
from the power supply.
