Unit is waiting 3 minutes for pressure to equalize across the compressor.
Curtains,
blinds
or furniture blocking front of air conditioner
will
restrict air
flow.

Thermostat Control may not be set high enough.
Turn control to a lower or higher
number.

Air filter dirty, should be cleaned at
least
every 30 days. See instructions on page 5.
Room may have
been
very hot or very cold when air conditioner was first turned on.
Allow time for it to cool down or warm up.
Q
Conditioned air may be escaping through open furnace
floor
registers and cold air
returns.
. Ventilation Control may be set at OPEN position, allowing outside air to enter
the room.
Position of the louvers will affect temperature. See page 3.
Dust accumulating on surface of heating element during trans~rtation or storage
can cause “burning” odor at beginning of heating operation. This odor should
quictiy
dissipate.

Relay
clicks may be heard when compressor or fan cycles on and off. This is normal.

Fan runs continuously when air conditioner is operating except when Fan Cycle
Switch behind room cabinet is set at
UCLE.
Then the fan cycles on and off with the
compressor or resistance heater.
. Tilt louvers down slightly and keep them down until condensation disappears.
