Coolant temperature gauge
The coolant temperature gauge shows engine coolant temperature with
the coolant temperature display. When the segment begins to move
above the C (Cold) display, the engine is warm enough for the SXS to be
ridden. When the coolant temperature is low, the coolant temperature
gauge will display “Lo”. The normal operating temperature range is
within the section between the H and C displays.
If all sections of the coolant temperature gauge, including segment H
and the high coolant temperature indicator are on, the engine is
overheated. Stop the engine and check the reserve tank coolant level.
Read page 218 and do not drive the SXS until the problem has been
corrected.
NOTICE
Continuing to ride with an overheated engine can cause serious
engine damage.
