In this section, you can find out what you must do
before using your oven to prepare food for the first time.
Remove the appliance packaging and dispose of it
appropriately.
Setting the time on the clock
Once the appliance is connected to a power supply,
‚ƒ:‹‹ will flash on the display. Set the time.
1. Use the A or @ button to set the time.
2. Press the \ button.
Note: Once the period allowed for setting the time
on the clock has elapsed, the time will automatically
be saved.
The time has now been set.
Baking out the oven
Precleaning the oven
1. Remove the accessories and the shelf supports from
the cooking compartment. ~ "Rails" on page 16
2. Completely remove any leftover packaging, e.g.
small pieces of polystyrene, from the cooking
compartment.
3. Some parts are covered with a protective film.
Remove this scratch protection film.
4. Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp
cloth.
5. Clean the cooking compartment with hot soapy
water.
Heating up the oven
To remove the new cooker smell, heat up the oven
when it is empty and closed.
Note: Make sure that there is no leftover packaging,
such as polystyrene pellets, in the cooking
compartment. Before heating up the appliance, wipe
the smooth surfaces in the cooking compartment with a
soft, damp cloth.Keep the kitchen ventilated while the
appliance is heating.
1. Turn the function selector to %.
2. Turn the temperature selector to the maximum
temperature.
3. Switch the oven off after 1 hour.
Note: When the appliance is heating up for the first
time, you may hear crackling noises coming from the
oven.
Recleaning the oven
1. Clean the cooking compartment with hot soapy
water.
2. Refit the hook-in racks.
3. If necessary, clean the door panels. ~ "Appliance
door" on page 17
