#1 Can this machine be turned on if plugged into a smart plug? Or is it a physical button which wouldn't be compatible with such a setup?

I do not believe this is compatible for the smart plug. However, you can control the power via the Miele app for your machine.

#2 I like xt hot coffee and milk, are you able to adjust the coffee and/or milk temperature on the CM6160? If so, what are the specific settings?

Coffee / Espresso is 185 degrees
Hot milk is 122 degrees
This could be + or – minus 5 degrees depending on conditions in the home.

#3 Is there a second entrance for pre ground coffee? I'd like to have an every day roast in the hopper, but the ability to switch it up.

Unfortunately there is not. The only Miele machine available to have multiple bean compartments is the CM 7750. With this model you can have 3 types of beans at your disposal at all times. All three compartments are separate and sealed so they never mix. You can have the machine programmed to use certain beans with certain drinks as well. This machine is a dream. We have one in stock if you are interested. I suggest you look it up on Miele's website for complete information about this wonderful coffee maker. You wouldn't be disappointed if you took the chance on it!
