#1 I ordered but just realized it says used like new and original package but packaging may be damaged. Does this mean its used or packaging damaged?

That is what it said about mine and it was just because the box was damaged. It was a small puncture in the outside box and did not affect the machine in any way

#2 How would a person scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl to ensure all the ingredients are mixed?

The bowl and beater are designed to provide thorough mixing without frequent scraping. Scraping the bowl once or twice during mixing is usually sufficient. Turn the mixer off before scraping.

#3 Are there metal mixing bowels for tem kenmoore elite?

No, the mixing bowl for the Kenmore Elite is glass. It does do not have metal bowls.

#4 Will the Side-swipe flex edge beater work on this mixer?

I tried last week, it scratched the inside of the bowl and made a horrific noise while rocking the bowl. Good thing I was right there to stop it. I do find the flat blade that was included does a good job. I was just trying to see how the side swipe would work. Won't be using it again.

#5 Do you know of a cloth cover that would fit this mixer?

I can’t even move it! Only my husband uses it as it is so heavy. Sometimes you can find covers if you search the Internet.

#6 Will they be coming out with other colors in the near future?

I think they originally offered quite a few colors, it’s made for sears. After the company announced it’s troubles, the selection went down
