2.1 Important safety guidelines for baeries

If you use baeries (or rechargeable baeries), please follow these instrucons:

• Keep the baeries always away from children!

• Do not throw baeries into re!

• Never charge baeries, which are not suitable for recharging.

• Do not short-circuit the connecons.

• Never open, solder or weld the baeries!

• Never expose baeries to extreme temperatures and condions

e.g. moisture, strong sunlight, severe mechanical stresses, etc.

• Check the baeries regularly and remove empty baeries.

▪ CAUTION RISK OF DEATH! Baeries can be swallowed. Seek medical assistance

immediately if baeries are swallowed!

▪ RISK OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION! Ensure that the baeries are correctly inserted.

Note the (+) plus and (-) minus polaries on the baery and on the appliance.

▪ RISK OF INJURY! If baeries have leaked, remove them using safety gloves and a

cloth from the baery compartment and dispose of it properly.

▪ RISK OF INJURY! Prevent baery acid from coming into contact with skin and

eyes. If the liquid comes into contact with skin or eyes, rinse or wash the area

immediately with clean water. Seek medical help immediately!
