CAKE POPS SUPPLIES
Lollipop sticks
Styrofoam form to stand pops
1. To prepare cake pops: Dip sticks into the melted candy or chips before inserting them into the cake pop.
This will help to hold pops into place.
2. Stand the cake pops in a styrofoam form to keep them from touching.
Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes before decorating.
3. When you are ready to dip, take pops out of the refrigerator no more than 5 at a time.
4. Frost cake pops with your favorite frosting or combination of frostings. Then roll into toppings of your
choice or press candies or nuts into coating.
5. If you are using liqueed candy melts or chips as the rst covering:
Using a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1⁄4 to 12 cup candy melts or any chocolate or avored baking chips
for 1 minute. Stir well. Microwave for an additional 15 seconds, if necessary.
NOTE: A double-boiler or a pan over boiling water can also be used.
If needed, add a splash of milk to chips before heating to thin dipping mixture.
Dip pops into the bowl, swirl cakes in the dipping mixture
until it is covered. Use a teaspoon to help drip candy over the cake. Work quickly as the chocolate will
begin to get lumpy as it hardens.
Roll cake into toppings of your choice or press candies or nuts into wet coating.
HINT: When using melted white chocolate as the rst coating, put some aside to use as a colored
drizzle. Melt chocolate and add GEL food coloring until the desired color is achieved. Decorate using
colored chocolate in a piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner snipped.
IMPORTANT: Never use liquid food coloring as it will harden immediately and ruin the chocolate.
6. If you are using jam, jelly, preserves or honey:
Place in microwave-safe bowl and heat on HIGH power for 10 seconds.
Brush pops with melted fruit.
Roll or dip cakes into toppings of your choice.
7. When all cake pop baking is complete, unplug the power cord
from electric outlet.
8. Do not clean unit until it is fully cooled.

Care & Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: Unplug from electrical outlet and allow to cool thoroughly before cleaning.
1. The Cake Pop Maker unit does not disassemble for cleaning.
2. Never immerse appliance in water or other liquids. Never place the Cake Pop Maker in dishwasher.
3. The cooking plates should be cleaned and conditioned before each heating.
4. Brush cooking plates with a clean, soft pastry brush or cloth. To condition plates, lightly coat the
cooking surfaces with solid vegetable shortening or vegetable oil. Carefully follow suggested cleaning
procedures below.
5. To protect the premium quality non-stick surfaces, use a heat-proof plastic or a wooden spatula to
remove cake pops.
WARNING: Cake Pop Maker is very hot during use. Never use plastic or nylon utensils that are not
marked heat-proof as they may melt and damage the non-stick cooking surfaces.
6. To remove any batter baked onto the cooking plates, pour a small amount of cooking oil onto the
hardened batter. Allow to set for 5 minutes, then wipe softened batter off with a paper towel or soft
cloth. Remove stubborn stains with a plastic mesh puff or pad. For best results, use only products with
directions stating they are safe for cleaning non-stick cooking surfaces. Do not use steel wool or coarse
scouring pads.
