5.1 “KEEP WARM” funcon
The "KEEP WARM" funcon allows you to maintain a set temperature. Press the
"ON/OFF ( )" buon on the base staon to switch on the appliance. Select
a temperature using the sensor bar. Then press "KEEP WARM ( ) " to start
the process. Following this, the kele heats to the set value and maintains this
temperature for 2 hours.
5.2 Turning o the key sounds
To turn o the key sounds, press and hold the "ON / OFF ( )" buon and the"
KEEP WARM ( )"buon simultaneously for about 2-3 seconds. Repeat the pro-
cedure if you want to switch on the key sounds again.
Cauon! Some sounds should not be turned o for safety reasons.
6. Descaling and cleaning
We recommend to descale the kele at regular intervals depending upon the in-
tensity of use. Before cleaning, pull out the power plug and wait unl the appliance
cools down completely. The an-scale lter is located in front of the spout opening.
Open the lid and press the plasc tab of the an-scale lter down to remove the
lter. Rinse the lter thoroughly using warm water and then replace it back into its
posion. When replacing, ensure that the an-scale lter sits properly in the guide
rail. Please use only commercially available descaling agents based on citric acid to
descale the water container. For the appropriate dosage, please refer to the speci-
caons on the package or insert of the descaling agent. The heang plate should
not be specically cleaned. Do not use any hard objects on the heang plate. Use
only a damp cloth for cleaning the kele externally. Do not use any abrasive items
like wire brush or steel sponge for cleaning. Never use any cleaning agents which
may corrode the surface or present a health risk if consumed! Never immerse the
appliance, the power cable or the plug in water or in any other liquid to prevent
risk of electric shock.
