4 Permanent settings in programming mode

E In addition to the settings listed, you can reset the values for
all products to the factory settings.
Example: Proceed as follows in the
‘Expert mode’ to change the
amount of milk for a latte macchiato from
‘4 sec.’ to ‘6 sec.’, the
amount of milk foam from
‘12 sec.’ to ‘14 sec.’ and the amount of
water from
‘45 ml’ to ‘40 ml’.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’ is displayed.
O T Press the P button.
‘Maintenance status (1/5)’
g T Turn the Rotary Switch until the programme item ‘Product
settings (2/5)’
is displayed.
T Press the
‘Expert mode’ button.

E Next select the button of the product for which you would like
to make settings. No product is prepared at this point.
E You can also select the products in the product selector. To do
this, turn the Rotary Switch to view the product selector.
T Press the
‘Latte macchiato’ button.
T Press the
‘Amount of milk’ button.
T Press the
‘+’ or ‘–’ button to change setting for the amount
of milk to
‘6 sec.’.
T Press the
‘Save’ button.
T Press the
‘Amount of milk foam’ button.
T Press the
‘+’ or ‘–’ button to change setting for the amount
of milk foam to
‘14 sec.’.
T Press the
‘Save’ button.
T Press the
‘Volume’ button.
T Press the
‘+’ or ‘–’ button to change setting for the fill vol-
ume to
‘40 ml’.
