Log set produces a
clicking/ticking noise
just after burner is lit
or shut off.
1. Metal expanding while
heating or contracting while
cooling.
1. This is common with most log sets. If
noise is excessive, contact qualied
service person.
Log set produces
unwanted odors.
1. Log Set burning vapors
from paint, hair spray, glues,
cleaners, chemicals, new
carpet, etc. (See IMPORTANT
statement page 19).
2. Gas leak. See Warning
statement page 19.
1. Open ue to maximum. Stop using odor
causing products while log set is running.
2. Locate and correct all leaks (see Check-
ing Gas Connections, page 10).
Gas odor even
when control knob is
in OFF position.
