With Your OSTER

Blender
Before washing ensure the blender is off and unplugged. Wash cup and lid with warm,
s
oapy water with a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive cleansers or sponges for cleaning.
Rinse well and dry. Parts are also dishwasher safe.

AUTION: Do not blend hot liquids.
Place desired ingredients into cup according to the following order:
L
iquids, fresh ingredients, frozen fruit, ice, yogurt and ice cream.
(Cut all firm fruits, vegetables and other foods into pieces no larger
than 1/2-inch (1.25 cm) by 2 inches (5.0 cm).

Place sealing ring over cup opening. (
See Figure 1)

Place blade into cup. (
See Figure 2)

lace threaded disc or cap onto cup. Turn clockwise to tighten.

Line up tabs of cup with tabs on blender base. Make sure the tab of the cup on the left

ide is in back of the tab of the blender base and the tab of the cup on the right side is in

ront of the tab of the blender base. Make sure cup is seated in position on blender base.

emove threaded cap or disc, blade and sealing ring.
•
P
lace lid on cup and turn clockwise to tighten.
You’re now ready to enjoy your blended drink!
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your blender, you should always follow basic safety precautions, including the
following:
• Read all instructions before use.
• Keep hands and utensils out of jar while blending to reduce the risk of injury or damage to
the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running.
•
The blender blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
•
To reduce the risk of injury, never leave blades exposed or place cutter-assembly blades
o
n base without jar properly attached.
• Always put the lid on the jar before operating the blender.
• Do not use outdoors.
•
Unplug the blender when it is not in use, before taking off or putting on parts, and before
c
leaning. To disconnect, turn appliance off and remove plug from outlet.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running.
• Supervise children closely when they use or are nearby appliances.
•
Do not blend hot or boiling liquids in the blender.
•
Avoid contacting moving parts.
•
Container must be properly in place before operating the appliance.
