Yes it can be. I replaced my K150 with this model in particular because I did not want to pay another $200 for a plumb kit I already had. When I went to install it I realized there are two protrusions on the bottom of the plumb tank and there were no corresponding holes on the new K155 like there were on the K150. I ended up having to cut the protrusions off with my Dremel Max. Functions the same but just isn't secured by screws.
